Canon Japan today unveiled the new EOS Digital SLR Camera("EOS KISS DIGITAL X" for Japanese market) featuring 10.1 MP, integrated cleaning system, 9-point AF, 2.5"LCD monitor with a start up time of 0.2 seconds.
It should be on market on 8th Sep 2006 in Japan. Expected retail price is 109800yen(£500) with standard zoom lens.
This one looks really good for price!
I don't know when Canon UK lauches this model(maybe EOS 400D?) but should do soon as Sony UK launched its α just two weeks after Sony Japan launched.
It seems like "cleaning system" is becoming a standard function with Digital SLR cameras. Olympus did it first though.
